Inspection & diagnosis
Every quote begins with an inspection. Where a roof is inaccessible, complex or storm-damaged, we can carry out a drone inspection to capture imagery and annotated findings before recommending works.
Typical scope of work
- Pre-flight site and airspace assessment, and confirmation that conditions allow safe flight
- High-resolution photography of the full roof: slopes, ridges, valleys, chimneys and flashings
- Close-up imagery of specific defects, and video where movement helps explain the problem
- Roofline, gutter and parapet imagery from above
- Annotated findings identifying each defect and its location on the roof
- A written summary with prioritised recommendations
Timescale
Flight time on a domestic roof is typically 30 to 60 minutes, with the annotated findings issued afterwards. Flights are weather-dependent — strong wind or heavy rain will postpone them, and we will rebook rather than fly unsafely.
Guarantee & aftercare
Your report is yours to keep and to share with insurers, surveyors, buyers or managing agents. We will talk you through the findings, and we do not charge again to re-explain them. Where we later carry out the recommended works, our written workmanship guarantee applies to that work.
Project evidence
You receive the actual imagery, not just a summary — stills of each defect and video where it helps. It is the most direct evidence available of a roof you cannot otherwise see.
