Documented roof inspection with clear findings and recommendations.
Symptoms & warning signs
- You have noticed a damp patch and want to know the cause before it worsens
- The roof has just been through a significant storm
- You are buying or selling and want the roof assessed properly
- The roof has never been inspected and its age is unknown
- A previous repair has not held
- You want a maintenance plan rather than reacting to the next failure
Inspection & diagnosis
Every quote begins with an inspection. Where a roof is inaccessible, complex or storm-damaged, we can carry out a drone inspection to capture imagery and annotated findings before recommending works.

Typical scope of work
- External inspection of the covering, ridges, verges, valleys, flashings and chimney
- Roofline inspection — fascias, soffits, gutters and downpipes
- Internal loft inspection where accessible: felt, timbers, insulation, ventilation and daylight checks
- Drone imagery where the roof is unsafe, fragile or difficult to access
- Written findings with photographs, describing what was seen and what it means
- Clear prioritisation: urgent, needed soon, and monitor
- A recommendation, with no pressure to have the works done by us
Timescale
A standard domestic inspection takes one to two hours on site, with written findings and photographs issued afterwards. Larger properties and difficult access take longer; we will confirm before attending.
Guarantee & aftercare
Your report is yours to keep and to share with insurers, surveyors, buyers or managing agents. We will talk you through the findings, and we do not charge again to re-explain them. Where we later carry out the recommended works, our written workmanship guarantee applies to that work.
Project evidence
Findings are evidenced with dated photography, referenced to a roof plan or elevation so each defect can be located. Where drone imagery is used you receive the stills, and video where it helps explain the problem.
