Inspection & diagnosis
Every quote begins with an inspection. Where a roof is inaccessible, complex or storm-damaged, we can carry out a drone inspection to capture imagery and annotated findings before recommending works.
Typical scope of work
- Removal of existing fascia, soffit and bargeboards, and inspection of the rafter feet
- Repair or replacement of decayed rafter ends and wall plate where found
- New uPVC or timber fascia, soffit and bargeboards fitted to the property style
- Over-fascia or soffit ventilation to provide correct airflow into the roof space
- Eaves protection tray fitted to carry water from the felt into the gutter
- New guttering and downpipes fitted at the same time where these are also due
- Removal and responsible disposal of all old materials
Timescale
A typical semi-detached or detached house is completed in two to four days depending on the run length, number of elevations, access and how much timber repair is found once the old boards are off.
