Inspection & diagnosis
Every quote begins with an inspection. Where a roof is inaccessible, complex or storm-damaged, we can carry out a drone inspection to capture imagery and annotated findings before recommending works.
Typical scope of work
- Strip of the existing covering and inspection of the deck beneath
- Replacement of wet, delaminated or damaged decking boards
- Vapour control layer and insulation where a warm-roof build-up is specified
- Torch-on or high-performance built-up felt laid in the correct number of layers
- Mineral-finish cap sheet, with upstands and drip trims fully dressed
- Outlets, rainwater connections and abutment flashings formed and sealed
Timescale
A standard garage or extension felt roof is generally a one to two day job; larger or multi-level roofs take longer. Torch-on work needs dry conditions and safe working, so it is weather-dependent.
