Inspection & diagnosis
Every quote begins with an inspection. Where a roof is inaccessible, complex or storm-damaged, we can carry out a drone inspection to capture imagery and annotated findings before recommending works.
Typical scope of work
- Inspection to establish whether repair is genuinely viable or replacement is the honest answer
- Cutting out and making good splits, blisters and failed laps
- Re-forming upstands, drip edges and outlet detail where these are the source
- Compatible repair materials matched to the existing felt, GRP or EPDM system
- Clearance of outlets and correction of local ponding where achievable
- A clear statement of expected remaining life for the roof as a whole
Timescale
Most flat roof repairs are half-day to full-day visits. Where the deck below is wet, the repair has to wait for it to dry or for the affected boards to be replaced — we will tell you which applies rather than sealing water in.
Guarantee & aftercare
Repairs carry our written workmanship guarantee for the repaired area. Where the wider covering is near the end of its life we say so plainly and set out what the roof realistically has left, so you are not paying for repeat patching.
Project evidence
Every job is photographed before, during and after the work, so you can see what was found, what was done and what it looks like finished — including the parts of the roof you cannot see from the ground. Those photographs are shared with you and, with permission, may be used as a case study.
