Inspection & diagnosis
Every quote begins with an inspection. Where a roof is inaccessible, complex or storm-damaged, we can carry out a drone inspection to capture imagery and annotated findings before recommending works.
Typical scope of work
- Deck preparation — new OSB3 boarding where required, since GRP demands a sound, dry substrate
- Insulation and warm-roof build-up where the design allows
- GRP trims fitted to all edges, drips and upstands
- Chopped-strand matting fully wetted out in catalysed resin as a seamless single membrane
- Pigmented top coat applied in the chosen finish, with anti-slip where specified
- Detailing formed around rooflights, pipes, outlets and abutments
Timescale
Typically two to four days on site for a domestic roof, including preparation and cure time. GRP will not cure correctly in wet or cold conditions, so laying days are chosen around the forecast — this is a scheduling constraint we will not compromise on.
Guarantee & aftercare
GRP roofs carry our written workmanship guarantee plus the resin system manufacturer's warranty. Because the finish is seamless, aftercare is minimal: keep outlets clear and avoid dragging sharp objects across the surface.
Project evidence
Every job is photographed before, during and after the work, so you can see what was found, what was done and what it looks like finished — including the parts of the roof you cannot see from the ground. Those photographs are shared with you and, with permission, may be used as a case study.
